Since that is normally my line, I was at a total loss of words and just asked if he would like a cup of coffee. He said "No thanks" and left. Mind you, if there's a bit of friction in the air... I think with handymen like that you're getting into whole grey area - probably never class themselves as gay, but wouldn't turn down some action.
